 Mission Statement

The following is the mission, intention and commitment of our not for profit (though not officially nonprofit) school:

"Nourishing a ReWilded Wellness & Dancing a Weedy Revolution"

• To provide accessible, encompassing educational opportunities through nature awareness, healing and rewilding skills.

• To provide knowledge and tools for the active healing of self, others, community and the living world... contributing to the wholeness of every person for the good of the whole.

• To reconnect people at their roots, giving them the skills and insights necessary for thriving in direct connection with self, community and land.

• To promote personal and planetary rewilding through the active restoration and preservation of authentic, wild nature in ourselves as well as the land.

• To defend liberty and further the personal responsibility (the ability to respond) that accompanies individual freedom.

• To support health as wholeness, through herbal medicine, nutrition, lifestyle choices and our relationship with the land.

• To preserve and pass on traditional lifeways in sustainable, bioregionally appropriate and individually applicable ways.

• To promote the continuance and proliferation of botanical medicine, especially traditional, grassroots herbalism.

• To encourage the use of whole plants as medicine, rather than constituents and synthetic derivatives as well as the treatment of whole people, rather than only by pathology or part.

• To assist people in fulfilling their potential and living their dreams, using their individual gifts and skills for the benefit of themselves, human kind and the rest of the natural world.

• To encourage courageous, life-affirming, earth-honoring values... lives of learning and sharing, of integrity, risk taking adventure, creative engagement, passionate as well as compassionate activism.

• To artfully and actively resist social and environmental injustice, including regulatory oppression, loss of personal freedom and the enslavement or abuse of both humans and the more than human world.

• To help inspire, foster and create true, healthy, new tribal community.
