Just enough donations come in to keep our existing projects alive, but not enough for the standard means of promotion and outreach such as advertising. Instead, the only ways that people are able to find out about the practice of Animá, and the events and opportunities at the Animá Learning Center, is through our articles in magazines... and with the generous help of members and friends like you!
Flyers to be Updated for 2008 Soon
There are many ways you can assist, the most important being word-of-mouth. Share the experiences you have had at the Center, or pass on any insights you value from your Animá readings or studies, with any friends or acquaintances... and people you magically run into. If you send out group letters or encapsulations of your year, include what has moved you about this practice or place, and include the Animá website address so they can check it out themselves.
Posters are very effective for reaching more people. We have 8.5X11” black and white flyers available for posting, a general one for the Animá Center and correspondence courses, as well as one for each of the various group events. Please consider downloading, printing and photocopying any or all of the flyers below, and posting them while on your normal trips around town. Note that flyers often get taken down or covered over within a week of posting, and need to be replaced periodically. Great places to post include: • Cafes & Internet Cafes • Whole foods stores • Herb Stores • Bookstores • Healing Centers • Performance Centers • Universities • Yoga Centers • Women’s Centers •

If you are unable to print off, Contact Us with your snail-mail address and we will send you some that way.
If you have an email address book, you can ask us for an email introducing Animá, and then send it out to your appropriate address list. We also send out an average of only three event announcements per year to our supporters, students and members. It’s always a great help when you take the time to forward these to the the people you know.
Gather together like-hearted seekers for focused study, practice, affirmation and envisioning: • Plan and promote regularly scheduled gatherings, preferably weekly, a minimum of monthly • Share meals and stories of personal utilization of lessons, develop intimacy and trust, agree on assignments to follow through on in between gatherings • Make as many gatherings into active events as possible, either outreaching or performing service together, or else connecting with each other and earth/spirit in a wild place within driving distance • Read the same assigned books, exchange notes and questions on the parts or chapters, and discuss ways of using the insight and information proactively
The internet is the widest-reaching of all Animá outreach, and you can help by: • Setting up Animá forums/discussion rooms online • Posting personal Animá insights and stories on existing forums or chat rooms you already belong to • Searching out new forums, yahoo groups and chat rooms where you can share Animá insights, stories and opportunities, beginning with those focused on self growth, spirituality, women’s issues, nature, ecology, environment, wilderness, communitarianism, sustainability, primitive skills, wild foods, nutrition, medicinal herbs and healing. | ||
